3:1~8
3:1 예수와 니고데모 그런데 바리새인 중에 니고데모라 하는 사람이 있으니 유대인의 지도자라
3:2 그가 밤에 예수께 와서 이르되 랍비여 우리가 당신은 하나님께로부터 오신 선생인 줄 아나이다 하나님이 함께 하시지 아니하시면 당신이 행하시는 이 표적을 아무도 할 수 없음이니이다
3:3 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 없느니라
3:4 니고데모가 이르되 사람이 늙으면 어떻게 날 수 있사옵나이까 두 번째 모태에 들어갔다가 날 수 있사옵나이까
3:5 예수께서 대답하시되 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라
3:6 육으로 난 것은 육이요 영으로 난 것은 영이니
3:7 내가 네게 거듭나야 하겠다 하는 말을 놀랍게 여기지 말라
3:8 바람이 임의로 불매 네가 그 소리는 들어도 어디서 와서 어디로 가는지 알지 못하나니 성령으로 난 사람도 다 그러하니라

3:1 예수와 니고데모 바리새파 사람 가운데 니고데모라는 사람이 있었다. 그는 유대 의회원이었다.
3:2 이 사람이 밤에 예수께 와서 "랍비님, 우리는 선생님이 하나님께로부터 오신 분임을 압니다. 하나님께서 같이하지 않으시면, 선생님께서 하시는 그런 표적을 아무도 할 수 없습니다."하고 말하였다.
3:3 예수께서 대답하였다. "내가 진정으로 진정으로 너에게 말한다. 누구든지 c) 다시 나지 않으면 하나님 나라를 볼 수 없다." (c. 또는 위로부터 나지 않으면)
3:4 니고데모가 예수께 말하였다. "사람이 늙은 뒤에, 어떻게 다시 태어날 수 있겠습니까 ? 어머니 뱃속에 다시 들어갔다가 태어날 수야 없지 않습니까 ?"
3:5 예수께서 대답하셨다. "내가 진정으로 진정으로 너에게 말한다. 누구든지 물과 성령으로 나지 않으면 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없다.
3:6 육으로 난 것은 육이요, 영으로 난 것은 영이다.
3:7 너희가 다시 태어나야 한다고 내가 말한 것을, 너희는 이상히 여기지 말아라.
3:8 e) 바람은 불고 싶은 대로 분다. 너는 그 소리는 듣지만, 어디에서 와서 어디로 가는지는 모른다. 성령으로 태어난 사람은 다 이와 같다." (e. 프뉴마는 영을 뜻하기도 하고(6절) 바람을 뜻하기도 함(8절))

3:2 그가 밤에 예수께 와서 가로되 랍비여 우리가 당신은 하나님께로서 오신 선생인 줄 아나이다 하나님이 함께 하시지 아니하시면 당신의 행하시는 이 표적을 아무라도 할 수 없음이니이다
3:3 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님 나라를 볼 수 없느니라
3:4 니고데모가 가로되 사람이 늙으면 어떻게 날 수 있삽나이까 두 번째 모태에 들어갔다가 날 수 있삽나이까
3:5 예수께서 대답하시되 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라
3:6 육으로 난 것은 육이요 성령으로 난 것은 영이니
3:7 내가 네게 거듭나야 하겠다 하는 말을 기이히 여기지 말라
3:8 바람이 임의로 불매 네가 그 소리를 들어도 어디서 오며 어디로 가는지 알지 못하나니 성령으로 난 사람은 다 이러하니라

3:1 바리사이파 사람들 가운데 니고데모라는 사람이 있었다. 그는 유다인들의 지도자 중 한 사람이었는데
3:2 어느 날 밤에 예수를 찾아 와서 "선생님, 우리는 선생님을 하느님께서 보내신 분으로 알고 있습니다. 하느님께서 함께 계시지 않고서야 누가 선생님처럼 그런 기적들을 행할 수 있겠습니까?" 하고 말하였다.
3:3 그러자 예수께서는 "정말 잘 들어 두어라. 누구든지 새로 나지 아니하면 아무도 하느님의 나라를 볼 수 없다" 하고 말씀하셨다.
3:4 니고데모는 "다 자란 사람이 어떻게 다시 태어날 수 있겠습니까? 다시 어머니 뱃속에 들어 갔다가 나올 수야 없지 않습니까?" 하고물었다.
3:5 "정말 잘 들어 두어라. 물과 성령으로 새로 나지 않으면 아무도 하느님 나라에 들어 갈 수 없다.
3:6 육에서 나온 것은 육이며 영에서 나온 것은 영이다.
3:7 새로 나야 된다는 내 말을 이상하게 생각하지 말라.
3:8 바람은 제가 불고 싶은 대로 분다. 너는 그 소리를 듣고도 어디서불어 와서 어디로 가는지를 모른다. 성령으로 난 사람은 누구든지이와 마찬가지다." 예수께서 이렇게 대답하시자

3:2 그가 어느 날 밤 예수님께 와서 '선생님, 우리는 당신이 하나님께서 보내신 분이라고 알고 있습니다. 하나님이 함께 하시지 않으면 선생님이 베푸시는 기적을 아무도 행할 수 없습니다.' 하고 말하였다.
3:3 그래서 예수님은 니고데모에게 '내가 분명히 너에게 말하지만 누구든지 다시 나지 않으면 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 없다.' 하고 대답하셨다.
3:4 니고데모가 예수님께 '사람이 늙으면 어떻게 다시 날 수 있겠습니까? 어머니 뱃속에 들어갔다가 다시 태어난다는 말씀입니까 ?' 하고 묻자
3:5 예수님은 이렇게 대답하셨다. '내가 분명히 말해두지만 누구든지 물과 성령으로 다시 나지 않으면 하나님의 나라에 들어갈 수가 없다.
3:6 육체에서 난 것은 육체이고 성령으로 난 것은 영이다.
3:7 너는 다시 나야 한다는 내 말을 이상히 여기지 말아라.

3:1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council.
3:2 He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."
3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
3:4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"
3:5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'
3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
3:4 Nicodemus *said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"
3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
3:8 "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
